so good news around the bebelua household. andrew has gotten a job at the same company i work for.

i have purposely avoided saying what company i work for, since i have tried to keep this blog anonymous and undiscoverable by friends/families/employers for over 7 years now.

but sufice it to say, if you use computers and you like them to be pretty or if you like the newest and most fancy cell phones, or if you have a digital music player (especially one with white ear buds), or even if you just like to watch tv commercials with fun music...you have heard of my company. and if you like to listen to digital music with software on your computer, or if you like to download digital music for just under a dollar a song, you have probably heard of the team i'm on.

anyway...andrew has wanted to work here since i met him many years ago and he's interviewed for like 3 different jobs there and then he finally got one! the best part is that the pay is just about the same as what he was making as a contractor, but it includes great benefits.

it's on a totally different team than mine, in a totally different building, and has to do with the translation of stuffs for international retail stores. who'da thunk that his french degree would pay off?

and of course, the other best part is that his commute is now WAY shorter and instead of 50 miles each way he's going like 7. plus we could commute together, which is yay.

so yes. good times.

we've also been trying to eat better, which this weekend added up to some deliciousness. it had been hard since the move. we didn't have a fridge until yesterday (almost a month later than promised. and it was damaged when it got here. sears customer service sucks, fyi. don't ever use them. ugh.), which made it hard to eat well. we had been living on drive through food for far too long.

but this weekend i have been loving me some sprouted wheat sesame bagels with sliced organic tomatoes and salt, steamed artichokes, grilled corn on the cob, fresh juicy peaches, and organic strawberries. tomorrow i am looking forward to some avocado and cheddar on whole grain bread and nectarines. yumyumyum.

in other news, i'm pretty much all healed up. i have to go get checked by the doctor on friday to make sure everything looks the way it's supposed to. at that point, we'll see how things look for starting the ivf process. i'm a little scared of that whole thing, but that's a worry for another day.

oh, and here's some more pics of the house, with some before and after shots for fun.

things are good, they really, truly are.

oh and p.s. in my last entry? i in no way meant to imply that i have anything against christians or any other religious persons, or that their trying to comfort me is not totally appreciated or awesome. i was just sayin' that i'm not so much down with religious stuff myself. that's all. k thanks.
