i spent the morning in the emergency room. long story, but the important thing is i'm fine.

even more interesting was in the time i was there, i saw a guy walk in and fall over from a bee sting (he was allergic) and the nurses all flipped out and called a code blue and he was wheezing and begging them not to let him die.

then later, when i was in one of the little rooms waiting for some test results, everyone started running around like crazy and saying things about she's in the parking lot and the head's already out. a few minutes later they came rushing through the er with a tiny little baby and a woman who had apparently just given birth to him. in the parking lot.

seriously, it was like an episode of ER. except everyone wasn't hot.
