phil impressed me with his voice, but dude gives me the serious willies.

melinda was as polished and perfect and professional as ever. i feel like she should just get a record contract and be removed from the competition, because it's like she's in a whole different league.

not sure what to think of lakisha. except maybe that her dress needed a back.

chris was meh.

jordin was meh, though i like her as a rule.

blake was awesome, seriously. didn't hurt that he picked one of my favorite songs ever ever ever.

sanjaya surprised the shit out of me. he can actually sing sort of well. (but honestly, you people who are all "vote for sanjaya because howard stern said so and isn't it funny to fuck with american idol?!?!" need to get a grip and realize that really, it's not that funny. it's actually sort of sad. and while i totally get that american idol is a cheesetastic pop culture sham with very little actual reflection of talent, that doesn't change the fact that people who have worked for this their whole lives are being fucked over by your little game. overly dramatic of me? probably. but those are real people, with real feelings, and whatever you think about the show, for some of them it's been their whole life's dream to get where they are. pass judgement on the real value of it all you want, it doesn't change the fact that you're belittling something that mean a WHOLE LOT to them, in some sort of high schoolish asshole move. you don't see them coming to YOUR job and sabatoging your career because they think it's stupid. seriously, i think people are so fucking blinded by celebrity and so desensitized by reality tv that they forget there are real people involved.....ok so apparently i'm pmsing or something. please ignore the fact that i just ranted for like a page and half about american idol. except you stern listeners, because you really should take my words to heart. unless you're already a friend of mine, in which case i totally love you anyway. and you look good in that shirt. have you lost weight?)

aaaaanyway. that's about it. i'm STILL sore from the damn wii. also probably from the yoga dvd that i tried for the first time yesterday. might have been overkill for muscles that have been sitting at a desk job for like 3 years with almost no exercise.

i used to work out and really enjoyed it. or at least the endorphin rush afterward. i need to get back there before i turn into walking, talking vat of tapioca pudding.

also i really love my husband and miss him terribly.

seriously, why don't they just move us to austin and be done with it? all this traveling is just dumb.
