this has been a yucky few days.

last minute news that the boy needs to travel to austin on sunday through tuesday.

work has decided to restructure things in such a way that the new role i was going to get is going away. yes, still flattering that they thought of me for the role, and yes, the silver lining is that less responsibility equal less stress. but still sort of disappointing.

about the only bright spot is that things with my husband and i have never been better.
